As a river city of infinite appeal, Cincinnati shopping options are red-hot, reflecting status as a tri-state draw. Sak's Fifth Avenue is downtown, as is Macy's Fountain Place, adjacent to Fountain Square. Tower Place Mall, a three-level downtown emporium at Fourth and Race streets, features exclusive shops by the dozen, plus both Churchill's Tea Room & Gift Shop and a Morton's steakhouse. Hyde Park Square -- on Erie Avenue at Edward Road and acquired in 1903 when the city annexed Hyde Park – serves as an event-oriented open-air market. Findley Market, Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market and a Cincinnati institution, is a year-around home to some two dozen merchants for meat, fish, produce, flowers and ethnic items. Kenwood Towne Centre, anchored by Dillard's, Macy's, and Parisian, has more than 180 specialty retailers. Tri-County Mall, with Dillard's, Macy's and Sears, features skylights, a two-tiered waterfall fountain, and an upper level food court. Northgate Mall, at Colerain Avenue and Springdale Road, is anchored by Lazarus, Dillard's JCPenney and Sears. Eastgate Mall, anchored by Dillard's, JCPenney, Kohl's, and Sears, has more than 90 stores and eateries including Hot Topic and Sarku Japan. Cincinnati Mills combines manufacturer outlets, value retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues including a Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The open-air Anderson Town Center, with the largest Kroger ever built, open 24 hours, also has Macy's and K-Mart. Downtown Waynesville, older than the state of Ohio, provides village-like atmosphere while ranking as a Midwest antiques stronghold and home of the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival. Downtown Lebanon, between Cincinnati and Dayton, also has a diverse collection of shops from antiques boutiques to ice cream parlors. Mason's Deerfield Town Center has more than 60 shops and restaurants including Birkenstock and Coldwater Creek, Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy and Claddah Irish Pub. Across the river in Kentucky, Newport on the Levee has won acclaim as a top mall/attraction for families, with international dining and a 20-screen AMC theater.
